What Our Guests Should Bring: All guests are to bring their own food preferably in portioned containers like zip lock bags or plastic container (please bring scoop if not portioning), and any special feeding items or medication, Toys beds and small blankets that are machine washable are welcome. It is not necessary to bring feeding/water bowls as we have plenty(unless they require a special finger slow feeder). We do not give rawhide treats or pigs ears. Please, no glass containers or bowls. Please bring a copy of your dog’s vaccinations, including Bordetella for new customers or annual updates.
Cancellation Policy We are pleased to hold your reservation pending your pet’s arrival. Would like to remind customers that our facilities are limited and we will quite often be full to capacity. During these times we turn away other customers due to lack of space available and those customers are forced to make other arrangements. If we receive sufficient notice of your cancellation we are able to contact those customers and accommodate their boarding request. Apple Ridge Farm is asking if you need to cancel a reservation please do so 48 hours prior to the check-in date and NO fees will be applied. Otherwise, there will be a charge of one night boarding / daycare charged to your account. ARF is prepared to provide quality care for your pet during your entire reservation with us. For different reasons, customers return early from their destination and want to collect their pet prior to the end of their boarding reservation, without receiving prior notice of your early return this creates the same difficulty as detailed above. If you let Apple Ridge Farm know at least 48 hours prior to your early return there will be NO fees applied. Otherwise, there will be an additional cost of one night boarding added to your account at Apple Ridge Farm.
Business hours of operations: Monday to Friday: 7;30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Holiday Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please note we will be closed for pick up and drop off on Christmas day and New Year’s day.
Qualify to stay with us: Please note the following restrictions prior to contacting us: We do NOT accept intact males over 9 months old, dogs that are on medication for excessive separation anxiety,Dogs that are destructive or bark excessively during nap time or overnight, or Dogs that pee/leg lift on indoor furnishings. We ask all guests that stay at Apple Ridge Farm be neutered/sprayed. All dogs in our facility must be safe around other dogs – no human or dog-aggressive dogs accepted. Most new dogs will require a trial visit at our facility prior to confirming a boarding appointment. We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer or dog that we feel is not a good fit for our program. Proper evaluation and screening of each guests ensures each and every dog’s stay at the farm will be a successful one. Once approved if Any dog not suited for the Apple Ridge Farm will be removed from the communal area and given 1:1 private walks and care for the remainder of their stay; this will result in extra fees that will be due on pickup.
Vaccination policy Vaccination policy Guests are required to show proof of all canine annual vaccinations upon your dog’s first visit. Unsure if your vaccinations qualify just ask. sometimes they are just different codes. -DPV5 or DHLPP, -Rabies -Bordetella (Kennel cough) In addition to vaccinations, Apple Ridge Farm also requires that all guest be placed on a Flea/Tick prevention program. Annual updates are required thereafter. However, Bordetella may be given multiple methods and has an incubation period anywhere from 3 – 14 days. Please inquire with your vet as to the best method for you and your K9 companion. (we always provide exceptions for allergies, personal reasoning's and holistic approaches. please enquirer when booking)
We will try and accommodate all clients alternate pickup and drop off times if possible. If at anytime we are fully booked ask to be put on our waiting list! please book early to avoid the list!
