The Benefits of Puppy Social at Apple Ridge Farm
Wanting to be social is deeply instinctual for dogs; that’s why we integrate open play with others into their daily routine. Regular playtime with other dogs has numerous benefits, including:
With Apple Ridge Farm your puppies will learn how to be a well-balanced k9 family member both at home and in the community. We provide our customers with frequent updates on their dog’s temperament, detailing their behavior, who they made friends with, and how well they interacted with the team and other dogs as well as advice on how to replicate their training at home.
We know structure is important for your dog’s development.
Dogs don’t just play; they learn. We coach all dogs on every visit to ensure they live up to their full potential. They learn how to behave in social situations and be more comfortable around new dogs and people. Our certified k9 farm attendants provide quality care throughout the day, open play with brain games to improve behavior and manners, and keep dogs engaged.
Every k9 farm attendant is educated on canine body language, managing dogs in open play, preventing scuffles and much, much more!
Here’s a typical day at Apple Ridge Farm's Puppy Social:
ARF's Puppy Social sets your pup up for graduating into Apple Ridge Farm's any day of the week doggie daycare program.
Dog daycare can be used regularly for those who work long or consistent hours, or who have a regular schedule of commitments (ie. Mom works all day and then has to take Jacob to hockey and Suzie to dance 3 hours on Monday nights). Dog daycare is also a huge help occasionally for times when you have guests staying and a hyper and excited dog or perhaps you are selling your house and needs it to stay mostly pet free. Maybe you have a full day of meetings, or a day trip planned to the zoo taking you out of town for a long day, or something came up and you aren’t able to keep your dog’s regular potty or feeding schedule.
